The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) Achein Center for Lifelong Education will host a workshop on cultural tourism December 10 - 12, 2008. The conference, titled Creating Sustainable Cultural Tourism: Developing Best Methods and Practices will cover a variety of topics on how those in Indian Country can best utilize tourism to benefit their communities.

The workshop runs from 8 a.m to 5 p.m each day on the IAIA campus and there is a $75 registration fee. Although the sessions will focus on Native American communities, all are welcome to participate.
