IAIA MFA Library Readings—Ginger Gaffney and Barbara Robidoux

Ginger Gaffney

Ginger Gaffney is currently a student in the IAIA Low Residency MFA in Creative Writing program. She will be reading from her book in progress which chronicles her experience working with horses and the residents of a prison alternative ranch. Chapters from this book have appeared in the fall 2016 issue of The Utne Reader, in the July 2016 issue of Animal Literary Magazine (online edition), and the March 2016 issue of Witness Literary Magazine (online and in print).

Barbara Robidoux

Barbara Robidoux (Eastern Tsalagi/Cherokee/Metis)is the author of two books of published poetry; Waiting for Rain (2007), and Migrant Moon (2012). Her poetry has been published in The Santa Fe Literary Review, Ribbons, American Tanka, Atlas Poetica, Hinchas de Poesia, Off the Coast, and Santa Fe Poetry Broadside. Her fiction has appeared in Yellow Medicine Review, Santa Fe Literary Review, and the Denver Quarterly. She has recently completed a collection of linked short stories titled Sweetgrass Burning: Stories from the Rez which was published by Blue Hand Books (February 2016). She is currently a student in the IAIA Low Residency MFA in Creative Writing program in fiction.
