Tearing Down Walls

Tearing Down Walls, photograph by Carrie E. Dada

Against the backdrop of rising tension and violence in the Middle East, this original production interweaves voices of Israeli, Palestinian, New Mexican youth, and IAIA students on themes of borders, identity, violence, and reconciliation. The one-hour performance of Tearing Down Walls: Voices from the Middle East and Santa Fe is followed by a talkback with the actors and director exploring issues relevant to both the Middle East and New Mexico.

Tearing Down Walls: Voices from the Middle East and Santa Fe is written by Sara Gmitter and directed by Jonah Winn-Lenetsky.
