Two-Week Intensive Ceramic Course

During this intensive two-week course, participants will explore Raku and traditional motif infusion. The Two-Week Intensive Ceramic Course will be taught by artist Jonathan Loretto (Jemez/Cochiti Pueblo), plus it will also include two special guest artists.

  • July 20: Diego Romero (Cochiti Pueblo)
  • July 27: Roxanne Swentzell (Santa Clara Pueblo)

The course will focus on building techniques, motif structure, and bisque firing and glazing for Raku. All materials including clay, glazes, and the guided use of kilns will be provided.

Cost is $500 per person if registered by July 12, if registered after July 12 then the cost is $600 per person. Course is Monday–Friday, July 17–28, from 10 am–4 pm.
