2023 IAIA Student and Recent Graduate Art Market

IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA)

Join the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) for the annual IAIA Student and Recent Graduate Art Market on August 19–20. The Art Market is held under the museum’s portal in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico, daily from 8 am–5 pm (MDT). Twenty-three artists, including 12 Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) BFA and MFA students and 11 recent BFA graduates, will be showing work in this year’s Art Market, and proceeds from booth fees will go to the IAIA Museum Club.

Participating artists include Joeseph Arnoux (Piikani and Sp’q’n’i) ’22, Tayloure Baker (Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation, Musgcogee Creek Nation, Luiseno, and Osage Nation), Brittney Beauregard ’21, Gabrielle Becenti (Acoma, Hopi, and Navajo), Nicholas Begay (Diné), Feather Candelaria (San Felipe Pueblo), Leandra Chimal (Mescalero Apache Tribe) ’21, Alice Crazy Bull (Rosebud Sioux Tribe), Darvin Descheny (Diné) ’21, Shannon Hooper (Paiute and Shoshone) ’23, Tiffanie Irizarry (Ihanktonwan Dakota Sioux) ’21, Marissa Irizarry (Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes) ’21, Roxanne Meyers (Diné) ’22, Margarita Paz-Pedro (Laguna Pueblo, Santa Clara Pueblo, and Mexican-American) ’23, Emily Peck ’19, Wiyaka Pomarleau (Navajo), Faithlyn Seawright (Chickasaw and Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma) ’21, Tolpiyine Simbola (Picuris Pueblo), Brian Taaffe (Taos Pueblo), Talon Tsosie (Diné) ’22, LaVerne Whitebear (Fort Peck Assiniboine Sioux), Silver Wolf (Seminole Tribe of Florida), Chad Yellowjohn (Shoshone and Spokane) ’19, and Ryan Young (Lac du Flambeau Ojibwe) ’19.
