Blood Memory: Virtual Screening and Presentation

Please join us for a screening of the documentary, Blood Memory, followed by a live virtual presentation with Sandy White Hawk (Sicangu Lakota) and filmmaker Drew Nicholas. The virtual screening takes place September 16–23 with the virtual presentation occurring on September 24, 2020, 4–5 pm (MDT).

About Blood Memory

Battles over blood quantum and “best interests” resurface the untold history of America’s Indian Adoption Era—a time when nearly one-third of children were removed from tribal communities nationwide. As political scrutiny over Indian child welfare intensifies, an adoption survivor helps others find their way home through song and ceremony.
