Impressions on Nomadic Art Camp in Kyrgyzstan

| FreeThe Nomadic Art Camp in Kyrgyzstan is an international art gathering where this year’s theme creates space for cultural exchanges of Indigenous ways between North America and Central Asia. The project was founded in 2011 by multidisciplinary artist Shaarbek Armankul (Kyrgyzstan and Zhediger) who serves as the creative director of the program.
Join us for a virtual conversation with participants of this year’s Nomadic Art Camp Heidi K. Brandow (Diné and Kanaka Maoli) ’13, Clementine Bordeaux (Sicangu Oglala Lakota), and Tom Jones (Ho-Chunk), and Shaarbek Armankul (Kyrgyzstan and Zhediger). The event is moderated by IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) staff Nuttaphol Sinthavatorn and will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11 am (MST) via Zoom.
