The IAIA Student Success Center (SSC) is host to a variety of programs that promote student engagement and retention through support initiatives such as tutoring, career advising, and financial aid, to name a few. Our newest initiative is a Peer-Mentorship program that will begin during the Fall 2018 semester. This program seeks to fortify a healthy and supportive network for students through identifying community resources and encouraging academic success.

The mentorship program includes pairing first-year students with upper-classmen who will serve as mentors offering support in areas such as academics, career advancement, social networking, and community building. These areas are addressed through a variety of monthly events that are fun, engaging, and exclusive only to IAIA Mentorship Program participants. Some of these events include artist studio tours, bowling, movie nights, community dinners, and so forth. Additionally, all student participants will receive a monthly stipend.
