Everyone’s a Winner at IAIA Halloween Costume Fest at Dance Circle
Although the “official” winner of the IAIA Halloween Costume Contest held at the Dance Circle on October 31 was a rendition of Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, as worn by Museum Studies student Christine Adams (Tlingit [Alaska Native]) all of the over 40 participants were winners.
There was a T-Rex dubbed “Finance-a-Saurus” along with a duo dressed as the leads in Brokeback Mountain. Winning special mentions were a Baphomet creature along with a Terrifier Clown.
Ripe cherry tomatoes and fresh basil were distributed by staff from IAIA’s Land-Grant program and treats were on hand for everyone in plastic pumpkins.
