Inuk Silis Høegh: Arctic Vertigo Exhibition Featured in Pasatiempo
Inuk Silis Høegh: Arctic Vertigo, currently on view at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA), was prominently featured in the centerfold of the February 8, 2024, issue of the Santa Fe New Mexican’s Pasatiempo in Brian Sandford’s article “Northern Exposure: Exhibition showcases rarely seen areas of rarely visited Greenland.” The article features quotes by artist Inuk Silis Høegh (Danish-Kalaallit) and MoCNA Chief Curator Manuela Well-Off-Man. Høegh’s film installation The Green Land receives particular attention as a jumping-off point to discuss environmental concerns in Greenland.
Inuk Silis Høegh: Arctic Vertigo is on view at MoCNA through July 14, 2024. MoCNA offers free admission on Fridays to all museum visitors through December 2026.
