The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) presents its 2017 Spring Powwow on Saturday, May 6, 2017, from 10 am–7 pm. Over $4,500 in contest prize money is available.

- Head Lady: Jennie Whitehorse (Shoshone Bannock)
- Head Gourd Dancer: Garrison Tahmahkera (Comanche)
- Host Southern Drum: Comanche Red
- Host Northern Drum: Hawk Soldier
- Master of Ceremonies: James Edwards (Pawnee/N.Cheyenne/Comanche)
- Arena Director: Aaron Fry (Cherokee/Chickasaw)
